You Are Not Forgotten

I can go on and on about all the reasons I love Fall. It awakens something within my soul that I just can't seem to put into words. While the sights, smells, colors, and festivities are all fun and exciting, I would fail to give Fall the proper credit it deserves if I did not mention one of my favorite reasons for this deep profound love.
General Conference.

Last night was the Relief Society Broadcast and while I had every intention of attending I found myself not feeling to well on Saturday, and opted to stay home. I woke this morning with an emptiness and deep longing to hear the words that were spoken. So... I grabbed my laptop, plopped down on the couch with a comfy blanket went to LDS.ORG  and began to watch.

Now my heart is so full that I just want to shout it out to the world! Oh how I needed to hear those words at this time! Each talk was wonderful of course. However President Uchtdorf words seemed to resonate within me.  My soul is awakened in a different kind of way then what I mentioned before and I am filled with love, gratitude, and a sense of power to do good.  I am so grateful for my testimony of Christ and His wonderful gospel. Although it is not a tangible thing, I consider my testimony to be one of my favorite possessions.

If you missed it or if you just happened to stumble upon my blog and have no clue as to what I am talking about :) you can watch it

ALL are welcome!

"Sisters, wherever you are, whatever the circumstances may be, you are not forgotten. No matter how dark your days may seem, no matter how insignificant you may feel, no matter how overshadowed you think you may be, your Heavenly Father has not forgotten you. In fact, He loves you, with an infinite love."
                                                                                   —President Dieter F. Uchtdorf

Happy Sabbath!
