me and my boo

For the past two months now Jordan and I have been trying our darndest to live a more healthier life style. And you know what, swimming is one of the best forms of exercise! I'm a water baby for sure, I think I could live by the pool and just be as happy as a clam... (that is weird that I just typed that...do you ever think about strange sayings we have and wonder where they came from, are clams happy, does anyone know??)

Anyway...back to the subject at hand. Swimming. We go three times a week twice in the mornings which is my favorite, and then once at night. And when I say swimming, I mean hard core swimming! None of this splashing around stuff! We swim laps! We started off with 16 and have now worked our way up to 20, our end goal is 24. We are by no means professional or even exceptional good at these said laps, but we sure are having a blast and like to think we're hard core even though we know someone who even remotely knew what they were doing would just laugh at us :) We even bought cool expensive Speedo brand goggles to make us feel all warm and fuzzy inside :)

Sometimes after a swim we go grab breakfast at this place, you know, to help us continue to feel special, and like we've deserved it (I'm totally being sarcastic right now just in case you did not pick up on that...) :)

Our grill continues to be the third member of our family and gets lost of exercise as well, we use it about twice a week which means it cooks more then I do! Also, I think by the end of summer Jordan and I will have eaten our weight in melons, which I'm OK with...thank you Sprouts for delicious fresh and affordable produce!

We bought a membership to this place because we fell instantly in love with it after watching THIS movie there. So then we bought advance tickets to THIS movie, Saturday we saw THIS movie and just last night we saw THIS movie, which I highly recommend! I swear we do have real lives and don't just go to the movies all the time, I promise :)

We live right around the corner from the Chinese Cultural Center. And by "Cultural Center" what they really should have said was... really cool architecture shopping center with Chinese restaurants, market, and nail salon. Because lets be honest, that's all it really is. It is a good place to go if you would like really delicious and cheap European pastries, go figure! It's a great place for Jordan to shop for ingredient because he makes the best Chinese food from scratch! Also, they have chop sticks you can buy that have kama sutra posses on them. You know, just in case you are ever eating dinner and think to yourself...you know, the only thing this dinner is lacking is pornographic utensils! Well fear not, I have just the thing for you ;)

And now you are all caught up on the Herberts
Life is good over here in our neck of the Phoenix!
