This will be my last post from our apartment. You know as happy as I am to leave, and trust me I am, I'm also a little sad. For someone who gets anxiety at the thought of too many worldly possessions, I am a pretty darn sentimental person for the simple things. For example, I have saved every single note and card that Jordan has ever given me, I have saved every ticket stub to every concert or show that we have attended. To me, that stuff is more precious then my most expensive possessions . This apartment is where we spent the first two years of our married life, it is where we opened our wedding gifts, it's where I learned to live with a man for the first time, it's where we first brought home our bunnies, we have laughed here, we cried here, we had personal dance parties here, we pulled all nighter movie marathons here, heck, this is even where I lost my virginity! Can I say that?! Suuuure....this is my blog after all :) The point is, I'm sure gonna take some fond memories of this place with me.
And now almost everything is packed up and we get to maneuver through a maze of boxes for the next few days. Saturday is the big move, and we get to make new memories in our new home, and I can't wait! This will be such a fun new chapter.
Pay no attention to the dirtiness that is my bathroom...
About a month after moving in I had purchased a cricut machine. Jordan had seemed awfully curious as to how it worked and nonchalantly asked for a demo. The next morning I awoke to this on the bathroom mirror, and there it has remained for two years!
Bijoux is Jordan's nickname for me, it's French for Jewels
I sure love that guy.
Parting is such sweet sorrow - but you'll love having your own spot. I seriously need to find out why I can't see your pictures! Cant wait to see the new casa :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so sweet I can hardly stand it.
ReplyDeleteHappy 2 years! and I hope you are loving the new place. We need to get together soon!
