For Jordan's birthday I bought him a deep fryer. Romantic, I know... but his roommate had one while we were dating and I remembered him making some really delicious stuff with it. And then a few times since we got married he would offhandedly mention how we should eventually get one of our own. So, I bought him one and he loved it!
Correction.... he LOVES it.
Since then he has made deep fried cookie dough THREE times and then Friday night he made homemade jalapeno battered deep fried corndogs that were seriously the best thing I have ever had. I could actually hear myself getting fatter as I ate them. That's a bittersweet sound by the way.
Next up on his deep fried culinary adventures: cheese, doughnuts, and chicken.
