11/24/11

Yesterday was Jordan's birthday, he finally caught up to me in age and is now the big 30! :) We spent the entire day together doing what ever he wanted, which included lunch at Firehouse Subs (you get a free sub on your birthday) going to see the new Muppet movie, and time with family and friends. Good thing he is an easy man to please. We also made a trip to Lowes to officially purchase our new fridge, washer, and dryer. The excitement and reality of it all gives me goosebumps!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL!! You know, it kinda doesn't feel like Thanksgiving over here on my end. Every year my family goes to St. Johns for turkey day, it's freezing outside and we always have the fireplace going while playing endless amounts of games with the cousins and watching tons of old cheesy movies. This year Jordan has to work, so no St.Johns for us. We decided to host dinner at our place this year. My brother who also had to stay behind from the rest of the family will be joining us and a few of Jordan's co-workers who don't have any family nearby will also come over. I'm excited, and the best part is that I will barely lift a finger in the kitchen. Jordan has been so excited to cook his first turkey that it seems it's all he can talk about! He also makes the most delicious and cheesy potato dish ever. I am in charge of the stuffing, how easy peasy is that! So I think I will make sure the house is clean, then just kick back, finish watching season two of Downton Abbey and be grateful for all the many blessing that I have, which are many.

Also, I am very grateful for all of YOU! Having friends is a sweet blessing and you have all made an impact on me in one way or another. I can't wait to hear what you all are doing for the Holiday, and I wish you the happiest of days!
