I don't hate you 2011

.....I just really really really dislike you.

   As I'm sitting here in bed, sick as a dog while the rest of my family is livin' it up with out me :( I feel the need to say that even though this year had been a roller coaster ride of emotions and trials,  I can reflect back on it all and know that I was still able to do and see some pretty amazing stuff. I always had the support and love of family and friends. I always had a roof over my head and food on my table. And I always had the knowledge and testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Therefor I know I was blessed.

But I will still shed no tears for you 2011

Here are my favorites of the year

Jordan and I celebrated one whole year of marriage!! We celebrated in style by spending a week in Vegas and seeing a whole bunch of shows.

I went to Oregon for the first time. And while it was not a happy moment that brought us there, we made the best of the situation. I got to meet the rest of Jordan's amazing cousins and taste the delicious fresh berries that Oregon has to offer. I don't think I can ever go back to normal berries now.

One of my best friends got married! Her shower, wedding, sealing, and other festivities were absolutely beautiful. Just like her!

Jordan and I got to go on an amazing road trip up the coast of California so that we could attend the wedding of his best friend. Everything about this trip was wonderful.  We saw and did amazing things and of course we made sure to stop at every bakery along the way.

I have been doing a lot of baking on my own and my business has been growing! Which makes me one happy gal. 

And finally, we got the key to our new place and have already begun painting and fixing up a few things. That's a pretty good way to end the year. Oh, and my niece was baptized today! I cried during most of it...I think it was a mixture of me being in pain and that fact that I was just so dang happy. Mainly the happy part though :)

So that's it! 2011 I guess you weren't all that bad but I am looking forward to the new year and to new beginning. Happy new years everyone!
