And Then It Was December 29th....

Here is a peek as to what the majority of our December looked like (Pre -Christmas)

Jordan has been working 70+ hour work week. I am so proud and grateful for this man. There is lots of opportunities for overtime at his work right now, and since we have big big plans for 2013, he has been trying to get as much as he can while he can.

For the two weeks leading up to Christmas I was putting in 10+ hour work days. Do not ask me why I agreed to this. I left before the sun came up, and was getting home as the sun went down. I was physically and emotionally drained and exhausted.

So..... if you can do the math between my hours and Jordan's hours it's not hard to figure out that we didn't see each other as often as we would have liked. Basically I would be leaving for work as he would be coming home from work.

We had to plan secret rendezvous in order to see each other!
In fact, I would highly recommend any couple doing this :) It makes life fun and exciting. Jordan would get a random break at like 7 pm and because he works so freaking far away, we would meet in the middle just to have dinner together or even if just to make out hang out in a parking lot for 30 minutes :)

It was pretty rough being apart for so long, but we kept telling ourselves it was all for the greater good..... The greater good..... (if you can name what movie that quote is from then you will earn 10 brownie points, and a lot of respect)
