This was just a crummy commercial that kept playing during the Olympics, I saw it a dozen times and yet every time it was on I was glued to the TV like I had never seen it before. And just like clockwork, the tears would come
I'm convinced that if you don't cry after watching this that you must be a robot
Other things I shall miss about the games...... all the fun Google doodles. And when they had the ones that were interactive, the husband and I were in full force competition mode to see who could get the better score.
Things Jordan will miss most about the games... the track and field events and every time a gymnast would fall on their face. I kid you not. He would laugh out loud and replay it over and over again. I promise he's not as heartless as that makes him sound.
With all the Olympic fever in the air we have been motivated more then ever to keep up with swimming laps, and we blew our original goals out of the water! Jordan can now swim a mile in the mornings, A MILE!! That's 80 laps in our pool (we did some measuring) I think our original goal was 25 laps, psh..... that seems so weak now. I'm not at a mile yet, my highest is 40 laps, a half mile. It still feels pretty darn good!
I said it before and I'll say it again, swimming in the morning is pretty much the bomb and sets a great tone for the rest of the day. Once the weather cools down we will need to find a replacement for it, any suggestions besides running?!
Do they heat the pool in the winter?
ReplyDeleteNope, I'm not a robot.
